Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 July 2026 · Not legal advice, review before launch

These terms govern your use of the TrueSold Chrome extension, truesold.co.uk and the associated services (together, the "Service"), operated by Pricing Logic Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales. By installing the extension or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

TrueSold shows true sold prices for eBay UK listings — including comps from recent sold searches and, where exposed, the exact accepted Best-Offer price — inline on listing and search pages, computed client-side from your own signed-in eBay session. Free core lookups, plus optional Pro features (history charts, saved searches, sold alerts).

2. Estimates, not advice

Important: every figure the Service produces — sold prices, medians, ranges, velocity, trends — is an estimate for guidance only, derived from whatever eBay exposes on the page at the time. Prices move, listings get removed, and some Best-Offer figures are never exposed by eBay at all. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax or professional advice. Always verify prices on eBay itself before bidding, buying or selling. You trade at your own risk.

3. Accounts

4. Free tier and Pro subscription

5. Fair use

The Service is designed for per-listing, user-initiated lookups on pages you are actually browsing. Automated scraping, bulk querying, batch or crawl-style requests, reselling access to the Service's data, or attempting to bypass metering or authentication is prohibited and may result in suspension or termination. We may apply reasonable rate limits, caching windows and challenge-detection safeguards to protect the Service and comply with eBay's own terms of use.

6. Third-party platforms and data

7. Intellectual property

We (and our licensors) own the Service, including its software, design and content. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the extension for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer (except as permitted by law), or redistribute the Service.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" — we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and eBay's own page structure may change without notice. We may modify features, and may discontinue the Service with at least 30 days' notice to subscribers (with a pro-rata refund of any prepaid period beyond the shutdown date).

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that: we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service — including decisions made in reliance on its estimates; and our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amounts you paid us in that period (or £50 if you paid nothing).

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction (consumers retain any mandatory protections of their home jurisdiction). If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these terms; material changes will be flagged on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
